Uzi Island
Uzi Island is a unique full day discovery Tour for all guests who are interested in remote lives, customs and traditions.
The Island is located on the south of Zanzibar, connected by a causeway to the main Island of Unguja and can be reached only during low tide via a 02km coral rock road through the diverse mangroves.
You will be welcomed by our Uzi native guide to explore social, ecological, economic and adaptive phenomena of mangroves ecosystem. The Tour will absolutely give you the insight on early history by visiting the oldest sites in Zanzibar as well as traditional lifestyle.
